Join Pastelist Gary Rupp for a Workshop spotlighting his expertise in creating amazing Clouds and Sky in his works. Gain detailed and hands-on experience working and learning from this accomplished master.
This workshop will be an extension of the morning demonstration exploring several different methods to allow the artist to create the type of sky that most appeals to them. In particular, we'll look at the use of high key versus low key paintings; the benefits of color triads, and experimenting with ways to create that elusive luminosity we so desire. My goal is not to teach how to paint like me, but to present different tools which allows the artist to decide how they might want to employ them.
