Sharyn Lightfoot, a self-taught artist, was born in Scranton, PA and has lived in Barberville, FL for 44 years. Painting Florida landscapes with soft pastel is her enjoyment. She presented a solo show, “Rambling” in 2012 at the Deltona Center of the Arts. She also exhibited in a combined show with another artist in 2019 at the Rose Room Gallery at Peabody Auditorium in Daytona Beach. Her biggest showcasing included 78 paintings at the Highlands Museum of the Arts in Sebring, FL. She has been Best of Show winner five times in Pastel Society shows and a First Place winner in a Paint Out. There has also been numerous other First Place and Merit awards in local and national competitions. Affiliations include:
