slide presentation and lecture on painting in pastels including people, still life, interiors, urbanscapes, and landscapes.
Discussions on materials, surfaces, developing your painting style, and working methods unique to pastels.
Demos emphasizing composition, color, and technique.
Daily individual critiques of students’ works in progress.
